Trach Tubes

The first video here is a comparison of Shiley and Bivona trach tubes. Tessa developed chronic infections with Shiley and their “disposable inner cannula” technology.

The second video demonstrates how to clean a Bivona TTS tube according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Tessa must change her trach tube EVERY DAY! We’ve changed her trach tube three thousand times as of November 2011.
